About Me

I’m originally from the Bay Area. I left at 18 to join the United States Marine Corps. I spent my first enlistment at Camp Pendleton, California. After 4 years, I received orders to the east coast at Weapons and Field Training Battalion in Beaufort, SC. I left after one year for Okinawa Japan. This was my favorite duty station. It was there that I became addicted to COCOICHIBANYA curry.

After serving 8 years, I got out and finished my degree at UCSD. I worked for a Microsoft consulting company for about two years as a business analyst. I decided I wanted more and left to work in public service with the City of San Diego.
